Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data EZMeal (run by Hustle Frolic, New Delhi, India) collects, why, and the choices you have. We process your data with your consent, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

When you answer the questionnaire

• Body and goal: age, sex, height, weight, activity level and goal.
• Food preferences: diet type, Jain food, foods you eat often, foods you don’t eat, food style, vegetarian days, meals a day, where you eat lunch, budget and cooking time.
• Contact details: your email address, and your mobile number if you choose to give it.
• Your consent and the time you gave it.

Health screening answers are not stored

The first step asks about pregnancy and some medical conditions, only to check EZMeal is suitable for you. If it isn’t, we record only that a plan could not be offered and a general reason (for example “under 18”), with no name, contact details or the condition itself. If it is suitable, your answers to those questions are not saved at all.

When you pay

Razorpay processes your payment. We receive and store the Razorpay order ID, payment ID, amount, status and payment method type (such as “upi”). We never receive your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.

When you use the site

• Your IP address, used briefly to prevent abuse (for example, limiting how many plans can be created per hour).
• Simple usage events, such as “results viewed” or “PDF downloaded”, linked to your plan, to understand how EZMeal is used. We don’t use advertising trackers.
• Campaign tags in the link you arrived from (such as utm_source), if any.
• A session cookie that keeps forms working. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

• To calculate your targets and build your meal plan, grocery list and PDF.
• To process your payment and email you your plan link.
• To help you find your plan again and to answer your questions.
• To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
• To improve EZMeal using overall, aggregated usage.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you separately agree to them.

Who we share it with

• Razorpay, to process payments.
• Hostinger, which hosts our website, database and email.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces on our pages (your browser requests them directly).
• Authorities, only if required by law.

How long we keep it

• If you don’t buy a plan, we delete your questionnaire answers and contact details after 12 months, and unpaid preview plans after 60 days.
• If you buy a plan, we keep it so you can open it again, until you ask us to delete it.
• Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent (which means we can no longer provide your plan). Email hello@ezmeal.in from the address you used, or include your Razorpay payment ID. We reply within 30 days.

Security

Our site uses HTTPS. Plans are reached only through long, random private links. Access to our database and admin panel is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your plan link private.

Children

EZMeal is only for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
